A Message From the Author of “Daytrippen”

This Daytrippen website came to be when researching a planned afternoon destination. Like most people, I found myself reading all the good and the bad reviews. Although in this day and age, trust is not what it used to be, but, it did bring me here with my own honest opinion and review of adventures we take across Ontario.

My name is Dave, and I’m the author of this day-travelling website. I reside in Kitchener, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, also known as “Silicon Valley of the North” because of the high technology and development in the area.

But don’t let that confuse you with the theme of my website.
“DayTrippen Adventures.”

The idea for this site was to find an affordable way to travel and explore the area we live in, and, on a budget. The best part is, Ontario has so many hidden treasures and places to explore that most Ontarians don’t realize how lucky we are.

That brings me here, writing about our adventures and honestly and truthfully giving my review and opinion on these daytrippen destinations.

I’m kinda like a travel critic, but I prefer a friendlier ‘point of description and review.’ As we love taking short adventures and still being home for supper, supporting our local tourist industry is also important in today’s world.

I hope you follow me in our Daytrippen adventures across Ontario.
